I'm a 34" waist, I ordered the large and they fit quite well. These boxes are fairly soft, especially after a wash or two. I'm not overly picky about my boxers so I'm quite satisfied with the 5 or 6 packs of lower priced shorts. By comparison this single pair of boxes costs almost the same as a pack of 5 I can get from another vendor. So for me, these shorts have no features that make them worth the much higher price.
I like a great pair of big boxer briefs with a button fly. I got these in an XL and they fit me fine. The waistband is a gathered material over a stretchy band. These are a thin cotton material that is not a knit stretch jersey type cotton. I liked the exclusive print. The button fly has a flap over the button fly so that gives a flatter front with no button bump. I saw no sewing defects.
